Top Cited Domains in Collaboration Software
Monday.com and Asana.com rank as the top two domains by combined citation share both carrying strong position 1 rates, meaning AI engines lead responses with them rather than just mentioning them. YouTube.com retains strong volume but a low position 1 rate. Reddit.com shows a disproportionately high position 1 rate relative to its citation share, making it a go-to first source for social proof queries.

Content Formats AI Cites Most
Editorial and blog content accounts for two thirds of all citations reflecting how AI engines favour long-form explanatory content in this space. Listicles and comparison pages capture nearly one in five citations. Brand websites account for just over 3%, confirming AI heavily prefers third-party sources over direct product pages.

Asana holds the top position, appearing in nearly two thirds of all AI responses in this space. monday.com and Jira form a clear second tier. Linear, a newer entrant outperforms several established names, driven by strong performance in social proof and use-case queries. The gap between the leader tier and challengers is steep.

Brand Visibility by Intent
Asana leads eight of ten intent categories. The exception is social proof, where Linear leads with 31.6% suggesting it has built a strong practitioner reputation despite lower overall share. monday.com flips to first place for integrations queries, where its ecosystem positioning outperforms Asana. Transactional intent shows the highest concentration, with Asana capturing nearly half of all purchase-intent citations.
